The Student Accounts Office (University Hall, 1st floor) serves as the collection point for all university fees and charges. This office, however, cannot make adjustments to any fees without the permission of the Division of Research and Graduate Studies.
The Board of Governors reserves the right to change fees at any time.
Registration is not completed until fees are paid.

Students who have not paid first term tuition by September 7th, 2022 will have their registration cancelled unless arrangements acceptable to Acadia University have been made with the Comptroller. A reinstatement fee of $50 will be charged and original course registration is not guaranteed. Acceptable arrangements include the assignment of required amounts from Federal and Provincial Student Loans.

Winter Courses - January 9th
MEd students pay a per course fee. A continuing fee will not be charged in those years when a course is not taken towards the degree.
The MEd thesis (5966) is charged as a 6 credit hour course.
Tuition for all graduate students (except MEd) is based on either a 1-yr or 2-yr residency requirement. In the unusual situation where a student completes their graduate program early, tuition for the residency will still apply.
Student who do not complete within the residency period will be charged a continuing fee for each additional semester that they are registered.

Students who are admitted part-time to a MA degree program will pay the above mentioned program fee over 2 years. Students who are admitted part-time to a MSc/Master in Community Development degree program will pay the above mentioned program fees over 4 years.

researchNS Scotia Scholars Awards
The researchNS Scotia Scholars Awards are intended to provide financial support to high caliber trainees engaged in health research related to academic study at Nova Scotia universities. The goal of the awards is to support the development of the next generation of highly qualified health researchers and leaders in the Nova Scotia health research enterprise. Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan
These awards are available for Commonwealth students to study in Canada or Canadian students to study in other Commonwealth countries.
The fellowships are awarded to graduates of recognized universities for a period of two academic years and the intervening summer, and are intended to cover the holder's traveling, living and student expenses during the period of tenure.
Application forms and details of the award may be obtained on-line, or for students wishing to study in Canada, through the Canadian High Commissioner in their country. Persons intending to apply are advised to inquire not later than the beginning of October approximately one year prior to the date of tenure.
