About Jocelyne…

Jocelyne Woodin is a master's candidate at Acadia University. Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, Jocelyne graduated from Saint John High School in 2020 and here she quickly learned the depth of her love for English literature. Jocelyne completed her Bachelor of Arts in English with Honours at Mount Allison University in 2024 before heading down to Wolfville for her master's degree.  Her thesis invisible monst[e]rosity discusses all things monsters and monstrosity in 19th Century literature, focusing specifically on Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and William Makepeace Thackeray's Vanity Fair. Jocelyne is remaining on the Acadia campus after her degree and working in the domestic recruitment department. Outside of school, Jocelyne enjoys reading, music, and spending time with her friends and family.
